ABOUT HEATH PFA

The Heath Police & Fire Association (HPFA) is dedicated to serving and strengthening our community by supporting those who protect it. As an organization representing police officers, firefighters, and EMTs, we are committed to:

  • Community Service – Enhancing the well-being of the City of Heath and Rockwall County through partnerships with local charities, nonprofits, and public safety initiatives.
  • Public Safety Advocacy – Ensuring that the highest standards of police, fire, and emergency medical services are upheld to protect both our members and the community.
  • Support & Fellowship – Fostering a strong bond among first responders while providing resources, assistance, and advocacy for those who serve.

KENNY GRIFFITH

President

Officer Kenny Griffith joined the Heath Department of Public Safety in June 2020, bringing a strong dedication to service and community safety. As a Public Safety Officer, he focuses on professionalism, proactive engagement, and building positive relationships with residents. He holds several certifications, including Advanced Firefighter, Intermediate Police Officer, EMT, and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) through the state of Texas. Outside of duty, he teaches the drug component at the Police Academy at Texas A&M Commerce and enjoys spending time with his family, reflecting his deep commitment to both his career and personal life.

GREG MOSLEY

Vice President

Greg is a dedicated firefighter and police officer with a distinguished career in public safety, currently serving as Vice President where he advocates for first responders through professional development, support, and community engagement. Holding a master’s degree in public administration from UNT Dallas, he brings a well-rounded perspective to public safety, drawing on his dual experience in law enforcement and firefighting to enhance initiatives that prioritize the well-being of both his colleagues and the community.

CHASE SCARBROUGH

Treasurer

Chase has been a dedicated member of the Heath Department of Public Safety since 2013, bringing over 16 years of experience and a strong commitment to community service. As a Sergeant, he plays a key leadership role in ensuring public safety and responding to emergencies with professionalism and expertise. He holds a Master Peace Officer License, an Advanced Firefighter Certificate, and an EMT-Basic certification, along with numerous specialized field trainings. Chase also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M-Commerce, further enhancing his leadership and knowledge. Off duty, he enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, and spending time with his wife and children, reflecting his dedication both professionally and personally.

JOSH MARTIN

JOSH MARTIN

Secretary

Josh began his professional career in 2010 with a strong commitment to public service, starting with four years in the U.S. Coast Guard, followed by work with the U.S. Border Patrol and the City of Forney Police Department. In 2020, he joined the Heath Department of Public Safety, where his diverse background and extensive experience have made him a valuable asset. He holds multiple certifications, including Basic Firefighter, Driver-Pump Operator, Instructor II, and Fire Officer II, reflecting his dedication to professional growth. Living in Forney with his two children, Josh remains deeply committed to serving his community and ensuring the safety and well-being of others.

TREVER ADAMS

TREVER ADAMS

Sgt at Arms

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Trever Adams moved to Texas in 2014 to pursue a professional baseball career, spending over six years in the Texas Rangers’ farm system and additional time in independent leagues. In March 2019, he transitioned to public service, joining the Heath Department of Public Safety where he now serves as a key member of "A Shift." Trever holds certifications as a Texas Intermediate Level Firefighter, Certified EMT, and Texas Advanced Peace Officer. His background in athletics and public safety has fostered strong leadership, teamwork, and a deep dedication to his community, which he demonstrates daily through his service and engagement.
