Today along with Rockwall Professional Firefighters Association, IAFF Local #5057, Royse City Professional Firefighters Association, and McLendon-Chisholm Fire Rescue your Heath Police and Fire association had the honor of meeting Wendy Stambaugh and her husband Chad during the 2024 Breast Cancer Fundraiser.
Wendy who is a member of McLendon Chisholm community and former Rockwall ISD teacher is currently battling breast cancer. All of Rockwall county rallied together in an inspiring show of support and with everyone’s help including Lakeshore Church and Rockwall ISD Volleyball Team $11,000 was raised and presented to help Wendy in her fight. This is a testament to the strength and unity of our county and its communities.
